Collaborative Cataloging Japan (CCJ) is pleased collaborate with Simon Lee Gallery to organize a screening of films and videos by Keiji Uematsu, for the occasion of the gallery’s exhibition, Keiji Uematsu: Invisible Force (March 7–April 26, 2019). Accompanying the exhibition, the screening program illustrates Uematsu’s exploration of the conceptual practices in the field of moving image. As an advocate of preservation of moving image works, CCJ is pleased to introduce these works, which were digitized by The National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, as part of their research initiative.
